He is an ISO/IEC 27001:2014 certified lead auditor of information security management systems and acts as a DPO, Compliance Officer and director of relations with judicial authorities for various Italian and international web companies, mainly Internet Service Providers and Virtual Assets Service Providers.
He has accrued a wealth of expertise in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency law, subjects on which he has authored publications of international standing and coordinated and spoken at academic events and specialist training courses. He assists several Italian and international start-ups in the fintech and crypto-assets sector, with particular regard to privacy and KYC/AML compliance issues.
Enrolled in the Criminal Chamber of Milan, he is a fellow of the Italian Chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance. He writes online about law and new technologies.

She deals with copyright and related activities of commercial and advertising promotion in the fields of music, theatre, photography, television, publishing, new media, Internet and new communication media, with a particular focus on social networks. Her area of expertise extends to contracts relating to trademarks, patents and the protection of software and know-how.
In addition to her comprehensive expertise in commercial law, she also works in the management of real estate assets and provides consultancy in the field of leases and commonhold law.
Ms Maggi combines her substantial knowledge in the above-mentioned specialist subjects with extensive trial experience, where she has gained a high level of experience in the fields of commercial, copyright, unfair competition, contractual and real estate law.
For several years she has collaborated as a consultant with Prof. Giacomo Magnani in the Interfaculty of Economics and the Management of Cultural Heritage at the Catholic University of Milan, and with Prof Vittoria Fontana in the Faculty of Musicology at the State University of Milan.

After graduating from Bocconi in 2011, she became a lawyer in 2014 and between then and 2018 she gained substantial experience in the field of white-collar crime, handling several important investigations as well as numerous cases of cybercrime against various national and international companies.
In recent years, she has specialised in privacy consulting and Legal Tech projects, combining her experience as a traditional privacy lawyer with a Legal Design approach. She gives lectures and seminars on various Legal Tech topics and collaborates with several legal news and research journals.
In 2019, she was a research fellow at the Polytechnic University of Turin, collaborating with Prof A. Mantelero on a research project on European cybersecurity legislation. In the same year, she was also a visiting fellow at the University of Toronto.

He graduated in Law from the University of Milan Bicocca in 2013 with a thesis on Legal Informatics, focused on the technical-legal issues of the electronic document. In 2017, he passed the State Exam for the practice of the profession of lawyer at the Milan Court of Appeals. His university and professional career has always been characterised by a keen interest and curiosity regarding new technology law, data protection, cybersecurity and ethical hacking. He regularly advises Italian and international clients on personal data protection, GDPR compliance schemes and issues relating to cybersecurity. He collaborates closely with a team of full-stack developers in the management of the legal aspects relating to Legal Tech and document automation projects. Graduated in Law in January 2020 from the University of Milan, with a thesis entitled “Copyright, Music and the Internet”.
During the following months, he began working in the practice of Lucia Maggi, with whom he shares a commitment to research in the fields of copyright and intellectual property, as well as a passion for art and entertainment.
His educational background is the common thread that characterises his personal growth and professional training.
Born in the province of Novara at the turn of the 1990s, he cultivated a passion for music from an early age, both researching and listening to music and playing and studying musical instruments, experiencing first-hand the ever-increasing digitisation and evolution in the access of content.
Having moved to Milan to pursue his studies in Law, he became particularly interested in aspects of civil law relating to industrial and intellectual property, know-how and, most of all, the protection of artistic works.

Francesca Romana Pesce

Francesca Romana Pesce
Graduated in Law in 2020 from the University of Milan with a thesis on gender disparity perpetuated by artificial intelligence. Enrolled in the Register of Practitioners of the Milan Bar Association. She is fluent in English and French. Her fields of interest are reputation management, legal-tech and data protection.
During her studies, she was a member of staff for the first and third editions of the “Law and Bilateral Trade: North America – Europe” Summer School, which saw a collaboration between the State University of Milan and the University of Montréal. In 2018, she was the team representative for her university, participating in the Moot Court Competition organised by the European Academy of Religion.

A lawyer who has been working closely with issues of new technology law since 2004, he initially specialised in copyright, principally in the recording field and, subsequently, in the protection of software.
In recent years, he has gained significant experience in the protection of corporate know-how from disloyal or competing employees, leading him to specialise in issues of unfair competition and in industrial law more generally.
Mr. Cavalloni also extends his expertise into the field of commercial contracts, with a particular emphasis on online contracts and the world of e-commerce.
Furthermore, Mr. Cavalloni is an expert in judicial litigation in the areas of competence detailed above, allowing him to align his knowledge with even the most exacting procedural aspects of civil law.
Since 2012, he has been dealing with online reputational risk management for his clients, drawing on an in-depth knowledge of the world of the web and associated technology.
He previously collaborated with Prof Andrea Rossetti, as an expert on this subject for the Chair of Legal Informatics at the State University of Milan.
