He works primarily in criminal new technology law, with a particular emphasis on cybercrime, cybersecurity, data protection, web and brand reputation and corporate and individual responsibility online.
He is an ISO/IEC 27001:2014 certified lead auditor of information security management systems and acts as a DPO, Compliance Officer and director of relations with judicial authorities for various Italian and international web companies, mainly Internet Service Providers and Virtual Assets Service Providers.
He has accrued a wealth of expertise in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency law, subjects on which he has authored publications of international standing and coordinated and spoken at academic events and specialist training courses. He assists several Italian and international start-ups in the fintech and crypto-assets sector, with particular regard to privacy and KYC/AML compliance issues.
Enrolled in the Criminal Chamber of Milan, he is a fellow of the Italian Chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance. He writes online about law and new technologies.

Martina Lo Monaco

She graduated with honors in 2015 from the University of Palermo. She continues her studies doing various legal advanced training courses, and simultaneously completes the traineeship in court as a judge assistant.
Since 2015 she works as a civil lawyer and as Lawyer-Linguist. She drafts, translates and edits legal documents in English, French and Spanish for both companies and EU institutions.
In 2022 she pursues an LL.M. program in Law of Internet Technology from Bocconi University, in Milan. Since then, she works in the fields of new technologies, cybersecurity, data protection and artificial intelligence.

Michele Pellerzi
Lawyer of the Milan Bar. He deals mainly with ICT Law, privacy and compliance.
Graduated from the University of Parma in 2017, he began his professional career between Rome and Parma, respectively in a Law Firm and a Notary Firm, dealing with various aspects of civil law and EU law. In the meantime, he started specialising in the fields of privacy and data protection law, attending seminars and advanced courses.
In 2020, he moved to Brussels where he gained experience in the fields of blockchain, cryptocurrencies and anti-money laundering legislation.
In Brussels, he attended and pursued an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and ICT Law at the KU Leuven, discussing a thesis on international transfers of personal data, anti-money laundering and cryptocurrencies, analyzing the interconnections and the potential clashes between different laws, such as the GDPR and the so-called Travel Rule for crypto-assets.
In 2022, he became a lawyer and joined the 42LF privacy and data protection team.

Francesca Romana Pesce

Francesca Romana Pesce
Lawyer at the Milan Bar since 2022 specializing in legal-tech and data protection.
Graduated in law in January 2020 from Università degli Studi di Milano with a thesis on gender inequality perpetuated by artificial intelligence. She is fluent in English and French. Her passion and interest in data protection and new technologies led her in late 2022 to start a PhD program at Università Statale degli Studi di Milano in predictive justice and anticipatory compliace.

Giovanni Romano

Giovanni Romano
Born in Rome in 1990, he graduated with honors in 2016 from the University of Rome – Sapienza, where he was awarded among the “Excellent graduates” of the same academic year.
Then, he obtained a Ph.D. 2020 in Comparative and Uniform Commercial Law with a thesis in Related rights and collective management in the music sector.
As part of this experience, he has collaborated with various professorships of Sapienza University, including Diritto privato comparato, Sistemi giuridici comparati, Storia del diritto italiano e Comparative and European Private Law.
He has written various academic papers in civil law, music law, copyright law, entertainment law, and sports law. Lawyer since 2022, he speaks Italian, English, and French. In 2021 he joined the team of 42LF – The Innovation Law Firm, where he deals with civil law, copyright and entertainment law, privacy, and blockchain.
At the same time, he has an intense professional life within the music industry: events and music festivals organizer in Rome and Milan with the Spaghetti Unplugged brand; currently, he works in the management staff of known Italian artists such as Gaia and Galeffi. He is among the founding members of La Musica Che Gira, a reality born during the 2020 pandemic crisis of advocacy with institutions for the protection and reforms of the entertainment and music sector.

Graduated in Law from the University of Turin with a thesis in Legal Informatics entitled “Robotic surgery and medical liability: problems and perspectives,” during her legal practice she trained in criminal and civil judiciary. During this period, passion for criminal law leads her to attend the Course for the technical and deontological training of the public defender at the Vittorio Chiusano Criminal Chamber of Turin.
After being admitted to the practice of law, she obtains a Master’s degree in New Technology Law and Legal Informatics at the University of Bologna, while attending the specialization course of Coding for lawyers and legal tech at the University of Milan.
Passionate about new technologies and artificial intelligence, she focuses on cybercrimes, blockchain and DeFi, and data protection.
She speaks English and Spanish.

Alessandro Campara

Alessandro Campara
Graduated in Law in 2021 from Bocconi University of Milan with a thesis on the potential legal applications of Blockchain and Smart Contracts with specific regard to the value gap problem in online music streaming. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in new technologies and their impact on the legal world, focusing in particular on the fields of data protection, copyright law and legal-tech. He is fluent in Italian and English.
Along with his passion for law, he cultivated a passion for art, music and, in particular, opera. He is currently a member of the Coordinating Committee of the Youth Group of Milano per la Scala Foundation and of the Council of Presidents of Juvenilia – European Network of Young Opera Friends, an association which connects many clubs of young opera lovers from all over Europe. He is also the founder and former president of BIOS – Bocconi students International Opera Society, a student association accredited by Bocconi University.

Annasilvia Condotta

Annasilvia Condotta
Graduated in European, Transnational, and Comparative Law in 2020 from the University of Trento. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and German.
During her legal training, she practiced and became passionate about the fields of data protection and cybersecurity, later obtaining a master’s degree on these topics. She has been a participant in the first and second edition of the mentoring program organized by the European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO) through its Foundation “Women4Cyber – Mari Kert-Saint Aubyn”. She joined 42 Law Firm in 2021 in the data protection department.
Since 2021 she is registered as a voluntary guardian for minors on the lists of the Juvenile Court of Venice. She is a swimming instructor since 2010.

She graduated with honours in law in July 2022 from Bocconi University with a thesis on “Intellectual property in the creative process of the fashion industry: from the idea to the product”.
She has been registered in the Register of Trainees of the Court of Milan since October 2022, when she started working in the data protection department of 42LF, being passionate about privacy and legal tech.

Pietro Rossetto
Passionate about the world of cryptocurrencies and the business applications of blockchain technology since 2017, he graduated from Law School in September 2022 with a thesis titled “Copyright and non-fungible tokens” in which he explores the intellectual property regime that invests the crypto-art sector. A convinced believer of the pledge of blockchain technology, he founded the 333.Builders community, with the goal of accelerating society’s transition to web3: a more inclusive, democratic and participatory web.
He has been a trainee lawyer at 42LawFirm since October 2022 and assists attorney Marco Tullio Giordano in different areas of law, assisting innovative startups, refining studies on the legal nature of cryptocurrencies, and assisting clients subjected to crypto-scams.

Filippo Castagna

Graduated in Law from the University of Pisa with a thesis in criminal law titled “The new online frontiers of terrorism: an overview of the substantive and procedural measures to counter cyber terrorism” and later attended, at the same University, the Master’s Degree Level II Ecosystem Internet: governance and rights.
He manages to combine his passion for computer science with law, becoming passionate about privacy, data protection and artificial intelligence, on which he will focus his further education. In the meantime, he begins practicing law in criminal law, also providing legal advice to public and private entities on new technologies and data protection. He holds the position of Data Protection Officer for Public Administrations and Hospitals, specializing in the health care and scientific research sectors. He is the author of numerous articles and every year he lectures at the University of Pisa, also participating as a speaker at conferences in his areas of expertise.

Lawyer of the Bologna Bar. After a Ph.D. on Commercial Law, she immediately began practicing in corporate, banking, and industrial law. She has wide experience in consulting on company law and new technology law as well as in contracting both at national and international levels.
Always passionate about new technologies, she trained at H-Farm Education in Law & Information Technology.
In 2017, she attended a conference and heard about the Bitcoin protocol for the first time. Since then, curiosity has turned into passion and research on how this mix of technologies can contribute to social, economic and financial evolution and the often fraught relationship between technology and regulators.
She assists several tech startups in compliance paths, with a focus on the Bitcoin network. She speaks fluently English and Frech. has authored several articles and is a speaker at conferences in the subjects of her closest expertise.

He graduated in Law from the Università degli Studi Milano Bicocca in 2013 discussing a thesis in Legal Informatics focused on the technical-legal issues of the computer document. He was fully admitted to the bar in 2017. His university and professional career has always been characterized by great interest and curiosity in the law of new technologies, data protection, cybersecurity and ethical hacking. He regularly advises Italian and international clients on data protection, GDPR compliance programs, and cybersecurity issues. He collaborates closely with a team of full-stack developers in managing the legal side related to legaltech and document automation project management.
